Eligibility
Formal verification of income is required to purchase an affordable home. Below are the
applications that may be used to purchase at either
Stapleton or Colorado Community
Land Trust (CCLT)
. Income limits are based on US Department of Housing and Urban
Development. A buyer’s annual household gross income, before tax, must fall at or
below the following 2008 income limits. These limits pertain to the Denver area and are
based on 80% of Area Median Income, program requirements may vary at other
developments.

Application
Download the following forms using Adobe Reader. Print the forms and fill them out as
completely as possible and include all requested documentation. Your certification letter
will take 3-5 days from receipt of your application package. Certification means you are
eligible to purchase an affordable property. In conjunction with the application process
you must also contact a mortgage lender to qualify for a home loan.

Homebuyer Education Class - If you are a first-time buyer attending a homebuyer
education class is the best thing you can do to help yourself prepare for home

ownership. The class will assist you with everything from credit to closing. You’ll find a
